Smoking kills! (All the toxic thoughts present in your mind for a moment and eventually the toxic person as well). Most of us lie t ourselves that we’ll stop it, but after a few weeks we resume saying ‘I am not a regular’. This one afternoon I finally decided to take a shower after 2 days and folded my blanket after a week (my sibling folds it for me everyday). As I entered the bathroom I felt as if I walked inside the smoking room of a bar (a little exaggeration). So, there’s this passage which connects to the parking and a random old man was talking gibberish on his phone and smoking. The first thing I did was switched OFF the exhaust fan and spent the next 5 minutes doing a passive via the exhaust fan opening. It wasn’t a bad day.
At times we are scared of trying something because we fear failure. It was my 12th birthday and mother said she’ll be preparing a cake. It didn’t end up well and I started crying. From that day, till 8years she never tried to bake a cake and heard alot of notorious comments from my side on the same. This lockdown she said she’ll try it again and by keeping the right temperature balance this time she pulled it off. After the success, my family got so obsessed that we baked a cake every alternate day for about 2weeks. Don’t miss out on moments.
Aren’t we all competitive?
Since childhood, I was a big fan of cards but never tried UNO until third year of college (yes, I regret that). So, I was smart enough to carry the UNO deck back home with the motive of playing it with my family. First, I explained the whole game to them and then game night (which was something we followed religiously back in college) began. My dad started a +5 chain due to which I had to pick 25 cards. In order to get back at him I kept a keen eye on his cards and ‘caught’ him about 4–5 times which made me feel soo good and I felt like Thor when he actually went for the head.
I still lost the game.
